Managing Director

JAMIE JENKINSON

Jamie is the engine of Sector Associates. He has worked within the business insurance market for 16 years and founded PXL Insurance before selling the business in 2017.

He has a complete understanding of the commercial insurance sector and prides himself on making sure customers have the right insurance for the risks associated. He has an extensive contact list which means there are rarely circumstances that your insurance needs cannot be resolved quickly and professionally.

SARAH JENKINSON

It was Sarah, with her brother Jamie, who founded PXL Yorkshire, to become one of the leading hospitality insurance providers across the UK, before it was sold in 2017.

Sarah’s knowledge of the insurance market ensures customers of Sector Associates enjoy first class service as Sarah works underwriters to secure your insurance at the best price and with the best cover.

OFFICE MANAGER

JO PEARSON

As Office Manager, Jo looks after new business and anything that might not be a ‘standard risk’. Jo has been part of the team for ten years and is proud of the vast amount of money she has saved businesses in that time.

Her focus on making certain that she has all the correct information to get you the best cover also means that should you have to make a claim – she knows you’ll be covered.

RENEWAL EXECUTIVE

NICHOLA JENKINSON

Nichola looks after the renewals at Sector Associates. Her role is to ensure that the cover that was in place last year is still at the best price for your business and is adequate cover for your business needs.

She achieves this by working closely with the underwriters to make sure you are getting the very best provider and one that understands your business and the risks associated.

Steven Swift

Steven has been working in insurance for 30 years across the variety of stakeholders in the industry. Whether working directly for an insurer, in the claims team, as an underwriter and more recently as a broker. Steven’s knowledge of the insurance market is almost unparalleled. He is ACII qualified and provides highly valuable experience in how to approach the variety of insurances available and how to access them.

Adam Mason

With 20 years of experience in the financial sector, Adam is responsible for attracting new clients to the business and maintaining their insurance needs on an ongoing basis. While Adam is experienced in insuring all types of commercial risks across the board, he specialises in leisure and hospitality with considerable knowledge in insuring Indoor Play centres all across the UK.

Account Handler

Katie Thomson

Katie joined the team in 2021 and has become a key member of the team. Katie’s diligence and work ethic has seen her involved with almost all aspects within the office. Whether it be handling client requests, servicing our clients claims or making sure the payments of insurance policies is as smooth as possible.

Office Coordinator

Micheal Crumpton

Michael joined the team in 2024 bringing an extensive insurance background having worked in the industry for 35 years. Michael has spent time as an underwriter and a broker so is familiar with all ends of the insurance chain and brings that wealth of knowledge to benefit the team. Michael’s role within the office is to handle client enquires, maintain the renewal process for his clients and to service the internal reports that the office needs in order to make our clients experience as smooth as possible.

Michelle Heslop

Michelle has been with the team since 2023 and brings new clients to the office and maintains their renewal in subsequent years. Michelle has 20 years of experience in maintaining client relationships and has been able to bring the benefits of that experience to the Sector team and her clients.
